Vicki, thank you very much for taking time out of your busy schedule to chat with em today.
- Tell us about yourself, please!
I live and work in Blue Ridge, GA. I have been a hypnotherapist, past life regressionist, intuitive guide, oracle card reader and Reiki Master for over 20 years. I have an office at Silk Road Traveler and my home. I can honestly say I LOVE my “job”!
- When did you first realize you had special abilities?
I knew as a little girl that I was “different” from others yet did not embrace my intuitive and psychic gifts until I was 41 years old. I came to a crossroads in my life and made the decision to work with a hypnotherapist about the ongoing physical, emotional, and sexual abuse I had experienced as a child until I was 16 years old.
It was during hypnotic age regression sessions that I became comfortable with the knowledge that it was safe to be me. It was safe to trust myself and my gifts. It was time to follow my heart and embrace the opportunity to start a career in assisting others l.
- Tell me about past life regression, and what people can expect to experience and learn from that.
Past life regression, a form of hypnosis, is a safe and powerful way to discover the deeper truth and understanding about relationships, talents, skills, habits, physical and emotional issues with no “rational” cause that we unconsciously carry from lifetime to lifetime within our subconscious mind. This drives our desire to repeat lessons until we can finish our unfinished business. By observing a particular relationship, habit, behavior, or belief, we have the opportunity to shift our perspective of the outcome as we clear memories, misconceptions and blockages that have kept us stuck.
Bypassing the limits and constraints of our logical conscious mind, we allow our inner wisdom to let information flow in a non-judgmental way into our subconscious awareness. We then can begin to recognize and understand how all the lives we have experienced before still influence us today. With this increased awareness and knowledge, we learn that all of life’s challenges are wonderful gifts, offering us the opportunity for inner peace and happiness which positively affects our personal and spiritual growth.
- What is the most popular type of reading with those you help?
Most often clients say, “Let’s just see what comes up” when I do oracle card readings in conjunction with intuitive guidance. I also do have people that request answer/s to specific questions. Either way that is requested, I always trust and am in awe of what is presented to me by Spirit and how spot on it is!
- For you, what is the most DIFFICULT part about what you do?
I feel the most difficult part is when a client is resistant to embracing the information that is being guided through me for their best interest. Sometimes my “humanness” can get frustrated with that. I gently remind myself that I need to trust that when, and if, they are ready to embrace the guidance presented they will.
- How have things changed for you during the pandemic, and how have you adjusted?
I had to close my office temporarily because my husband has heart disease, and I could not risk catching covid and passing it onto him. I switched solely to doing sessions and readings by phone and video calls. Next month I plan to go back to the office, continuing to offer phone and video chat sessions, too.
- Any final words of wisdom or parting thoughts for our readers in these trying times?
Trust that everything in life happens for a reason and that there is always a gift to be found in it! For me, one of my most profound gifts came from my inner journey to shift the perspective of my abusive childhood, embracing my intuitive and psychic talents.
This gift led me to pursue my passion of inspiring and empowering others to shift their perspective, remembering and embracing their authentic self…the greatest gift for themselves and others in their life!
